It doesn't seem like that long ago, but WRIR used to have a single studio space for hosting live bands and recording our news/talk programs. As WRIR continued to grow over the years, we knew we needed to develop a unique studio space for capturing live performances. With this third volume of our beloved Live on WRIR series, we wanted to celebrate Studio C and what it meant for how we celebrate live music hosted at the station. We hope you’ll enjoy this sonic glimpse of the exciting roster of musical guests that we have been honored to invite to our station. We know our listening audiences wouldn’t expect anything less from their community radio station and this collection of broadcasted live performances are a strong testament to WRIR’s commitment to the local music scene in Richmond.
