Info

This album contains artists currently on the Jib Machine roster, side projects of artists on Jib and bands that have been friends with the label for years.  Below is brief summary on each artist/track and how they're affiliated with JMR...

Hot Ham & Cheese - "Katie in Blood"
HH&C was the first band to sign to Jib Machine in 2005.  Since then, the group has played many shows across the U.S. while releasing 2 albums (HH&C e.p. and Revolution & Revelations) and 1 bootleg (beta).  This previously unreleased track will also appear on the band's as-yet-untitled 3rd album due in Spring 2011.

Hostile Omish - "Shit Yer Pants"
The Omish have been a mainstay in the Cleveland punk scene for over 20 years. The group signed with Jib in late 2006 in time for the release of their latest full-length, As The World Churns.  This previously unreleased track was recorded earlier this year at Studio 13 with Producer/Engineer Brandon Youngs.

7th Day Creeps - "Wolfsblood"
The Creeps are the latest addition to the JMR family.  The only current act on Jib not from Ohio (Port Huron, MI), their brand new album Meat The Creeps was just released on 10/26/10.  This track can also be found there.

Johnny Mohawk and the Assassins - "I'll Jump Tomorrow"
JMA, who helped pioneer Jib Machine, officially signed with the label in 2006 and released their award winning punk rock classic, Drinking As Always, in 2007.  This is a brand new unreleased track produced by Karaoke Bob at his home studio and will appear on the band's new album on target for release at some point in 2011.

Roller Rockers - "In This Life"
The RRs have been rocking the Cleveland punk scene for the past 2+ years and came to be friends with Jib through the band's bassist, Gary Piston. This track was recorded and produced by JT at Studio 13 this past summer.

Waxgordon - "I Won't Dance"
Waxgordon are a brand new band from Detroit, MI, but 3 of the 4 members have been friends with Jib since 2006 when their former band, The Hunchies, appeared on the Demon & Angels Volume 1 compilation CD.  This track is from their debut e.p., If You Light Yourself on Fire, They Will Come And See You Burn, which can also be downloaded for free by visiting the band's website.

Sans Sobriety - "Truth in Rice"
SS (Sacramento, CA) have been in tact for over 20 years and came to the attention of Jib Machine when they appeared with the Omish and HH&C for two dates on the 2008 Churn n' Burn tour.  This track is one of their new recordings, but we highly recommend you check out their live show...one of the loudest 3 pieces you will ever hear!

The League of Proper Musicians - "Stand Up"
These Cleveland funk masters have been friends with Jib for the past couple years. Unfortunately, the group recently disbanded, but their music lives on. This track is from their last CD, 2010's League of Proper Musicians.

BattleCat - "I Dub Thee Destroyer"
BC is the brainchild of Chad Jenson (aka The Chad from JMA).  This track is one of his most recent recordings, but we also recommend you check out the BC albums The Ghosts are Out and ...Of Animal Construction.

Drug Fux - "Calm The Swell"
Cleveland's "not so super group" featuring Dennis (Stinky Monkey Finger), Charlie & Styx (HH&C) and Chris (League of Proper Musicians, Tremendous). This is one of the group's new recordings to be featured on their forthcoming Irish Car Bomb e.p. for the WLFK Productions movie of the same name.  It was mixed by Piss Promise from NYC's LESION.

The Natch! - "Pump and Motor"
Featuring former members of America's Sweetheart, The Natch! (New York, NY) have been friends with Jib for well over 5 years.  These girls (and guy) can really rock out!  This track is from their forthcoming debut CD that will be out some time in 2011.

Siscok - "Kings of Noise"
One of Cleveland's most insane underground punk bands.  It features Brian "Siscok" and Jib's long-time friend Joe Indigent (Jerks in Jeans).  The group released their 2009 debut album, Mechanical Tongue, on colored vinyl via Crushed Mutt Records. This unreleased track was recorded and produced by JT this past summer.

Slight Chill - "Ninjas in the Desert"
One of the youngest bands on the comp...in terms of age!  Made up of past and present students from the Cleveland School of Rock, the Slight Chill have been impressing audiences for close to two years. This unreleased track was produced by Louie Styx at his Hold On Recordings studio and will appear on the band's forthcoming debut e.p.

"Slowhand" Jack Labgold - "Judy Kafer"
Slowhand Jack is one of the newer artists to sign with Jib Machine although he's been a friend of the label since 2007.  He just released the soundtrack to the Intrepid Aspirations and WLFK Productions short film The Prophet of Lake Erie, in which he also stars.  But, this track is from Jack's debut album, Sex Machine, released via Jib Machine in February 2010.

REETARDO - "Red Chrome Spider"
This group features the very talented offspring of members of the Hostile Omish. REETARDO already garners a cult following as artists from around the globe have covered their songs.  This track is one of their classics!

Fifteen Days - "Take It All Away"
Closing out the album is a brand new band from Lansing, MI that features long-time Jib friend and guitar virtuoso Pat Zelenka.  This track will appear on the band's forthcoming debut CD due out later this year.

Jib Machine Records would also like to thank the following for their contributions to this album...
